We are currently recruiting for the following positions and are seeking self-motivated, results-oriented professionals to join our team.
LABORATORY
Environmental Analyst
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze water and soil samples for metal elements using ICP AES and ICP MS techniques according to CLP lab standards. Follow EPA and NJDEP methods in analysis. Maintain and basic troubleshoot ICPAES and ICPMS instruments. Prepare stock and work standards using single elements. Prepare and review data package using LIMS systems. Collaborate with other departments to insure production efficiency in sample collection, sample handling, and analytical methods. Conduct and analyze Method Detection limits, linear range study and interference check study required by NJDEP and EPA. Update and verify SOP based on EPA and NJDEP standards and requirements.

Applicants must have experience of 1 year(s) .
Special Requirements
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and 1 year experience. Chemical analysis experience of water, soil and waste samples using ICP-AES. Familiar with EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP), EPA Methods 200.7 and 6010; and Statement of Work for Inorganic Superfund Methods Multimedia ISM02.4. Experience in preparing lab for audit as per NJDEP and EPA audit process. Experience in analyzing performance evaluation/proficiency samples. Experience with LIMS system for data crunching and transferring as well as wet chemistry techniques, and toxicity characteristic and synthetic precipitation leaching procedures for metal analysis.
GCMS and GC Analyst
Outstanding opportunities to develop skills in a state-of-the-art work environment utilizing GC and GCMS 5973/6890 instrumentation. Candidates should have a minimum of one year experience in the analysis of water and soil samples by EPA 500, 600 and/or 8000 series methods. A BS degree in Chemistry or a related science required.
HPLC Analyst
Opportunity to join a growing HPLC team. Qualified candidates must have at least one year HPLC experience. Method development skills and experience with method SW846 8310 is a plus. Will consider Environmental Laboratory GC or GC/MS experience. A BS degree in Chemistry or a related science required.
Lab Technician
Entry-level position for a 2 or 4-year science-degreed candidate to learn organic extractions, metals prep or wet chemistry analysis. Will train a bright, self-motivated candidate with an interest in environmental science. Shift flexibility to include days, evenings and/or weekends.
Analytical Chemist
MS degree in Chemistry or related field with at least 2 years experience with GCMS, HPLC in analytical Lab. Candidate will develop and validate analytical methods, maintain and calibrate all analytical lab equipments, write and review Standard Operating Analytical Test Methods, SOP, and validation protocols.
 
CLIENT SERVICES
Project Manager

Expansion of our client services department has created a growth opportunity for an environmental professional to manage all aspects of client services. Project Managers are the central point of communications for our clients and are responsible for project logistics, scheduling, tracking and communicating the needs of the client to the laboratory.

Requires a BS degree in chemistry or a related science and at least 2 years environmental laboratory Project Management experience. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, in addition to a demonstrated ability to provide outstanding client service.

 
PART-TIME & COOPERATIVE EDUCATION

Part-time and Cooperative Education opportunities are available for candidates with college-level chemistry coursework and flexible work schedules to assist in entry-level laboratory duties, general clerical work and sample management. Shift flexibility to include days, evenings and/or weekends.
